Migom intends to extend operation in Azerbaijan

Baku. Ali Ahmedov â€“ APA-Economics. Migom money transfers system tries to revive its cooperation with domestic banks. According to APA-Economics, the management of Company has held meeting with representatives of domestic banks in Baku, today.

Migomâ€™s director on money transfer department Azad Taktarov noted that, the company cooperated with 34 banks and had 900 payment points when it stopped operation in 2010: â€œAt present, we cooperate with 8-10 banks, cooperation with only 4 of them were completely restored, number of payment points decreased to 200â€.

The company has implemented $ 6 mln-money transfers during second quarter after restoration of activity in April. According to Taktarovâ€™s forecasts, the volume of money transfers may reach $ 15-17 mln, during 3rd quarter.
