Expressbank increases total capital more than 2 times

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. As of July 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Expressbankâ€™s assets made AZN 141.543 mln, up 85.4% from a year earlier.

Bank says total capital of the bank during the reporting period rose 2.2 times to AZN 62.553 mln, authorized capital increased by 2 times to AZN 51 mln.

Loan portfolio grew by 395 to AZN 52.913 mln, deposit portfolio dropped 61% to AZN 69.301 mln.

Number of customers rose 25% to 34,113, as well as individuals increased by 26% to 33,932, legal entities decreased by 41% to 181. number of active plastic cards increased by 21.2% to 27,501, debit cards rose 205 to 27,146, credit cards reached 355. Extra 16 ATMs and 16POS-terminals were launched during this period.

Remind that, Expressbank has been in operation under Azerneqliyyatbank since 1989 until 2010. It operates 10 branches, 42 ATMs, 17 POS-terminals and 212 employees across the country.
