Annual inflation drops to 8.8% in Azerbaijan

As compared to January-June 2010, prices of consumer goods and services increased by 8.8%, foodstuffs â€“ 12.31%, nonfood â€“ 2.9%, service tariffs â€“ 4.3%.

Remind that, , annual inflation in the country made 8.9% in January-May, 2011.

Note that, IMF forecasts inflation in Azerbaijan for 2011 as 10.3%. But ADB forecasts it as 4%. According o prognoses of Azerbaijani government, this year, the inflation will be 5%.
