Royal Bank sees 21% growth in assets year-on-year

Baku. Elnur Huseynquluyev - APA-Economics. As of July 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Royal Bankâ€™s assets made AZN 189.361 mln, up 21% compared to previous year.

Bank says loan portfolio made AZN 131.591 mln by rising 12%, deposit portfolio made AZN 77.009 mln by rising 10.5%. Total capital increased by 18.8% to AZN 22.401 mln, authorized capital rose 7.3% to AZN 22.139 mln.

Number of customers rose 29% to 63,971, as well as individuals increased by 29.4% to 61,621, legal entities â€“ 22.1% to 32,515, credit cards decreased by 6.9% to 2,155.

Number of bank employees dropped 5.15 to 573, whereas the average monthly salary rose 1.59% to AZN 576.

Remind that, Royal Bank has been in operation since 1993. The bank operates 32 branches, 31 ATMs, 113 POS-terminals across the country.
