DamirBankâ€™s Shamkir branch starts to operate

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. In order to expand the branch network, Azerbaijanâ€™s DamirBank has laucnhed a new regional office in Shamkir.

The Shamkir branch is located in Shamkir city, Nizami street 69a. It provides a broad range of banking services to all individuals and legal entities.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Yusif Jabbarov, launcing of new branch is a significant event for the bank and its clients and people in the region: â€œDamirBank created all necessary conditions for a new department for quality customer service. Department offers customers cash management services, deposit taking, credit cards, money transfers, currency exchange, for communications, utilities and other servicesâ€.

Currently, number of customer service network hits 31. 13 of them - are in Baku, and 18 - in regions, such as Ganja, Sumgayit, Shaki, Zagatala, Yevlakh, Barda, Gazakh, Shamkir, Guba, Gusar, Goychay, Agdash, Agsu, Shamakhi, Lankaran, Masalli, Sabirabad and Imishli.

Remind that, Damirbank (formerly called Azerdemiryolbank) was established in 1989. Among its shareholders are financial institutions such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO).
