Annual inflation in CIS countries makes 9.5%, in January

Baku – APA-Economics. In January, 2011, the average inflation rate on CIS Countries made 9.5%, compared to a year ago, 2% - compared to December, 2010.

According to CIS Statistical Committee, the annual inflation rate was 9.6% in Russia, 2.4% - in comparison to December. The lowest inflation rate was observed in Kyrgyzstan as 20.6% in annual comparison, 2.7% in monthly comparison. At the same time, highest inflation was observed Tajikistan as 11.2% and 1.9%, Armenia – 10.6% and 2.8% and Belarus – 10.6% and 1.4%.

Lower inflation was in Azerbaijan – 8.3% and 0.8%, Ukraine – 8.2% and 1.0%, Kazakhstan – 8.1% and 1.7% and Moldova – 6.7% and 1.1%.
