Unibank syncs operations on card accounts with MilliKart processing centre

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Unibank synced sync its card account operations with the MilliKart Processing Centre in the real time mode.

From now on, every customer of the Bank can supplement their card accounts as well as conduct credit operations with the plastic cards and update the data on their card accounts including the balances very quickly. To support such transactions, the automatic banking system had launched several application modules permitting the request of a certain data combination from the MilliKart Processing Centre, such as, for example, the check of sufficiency of funds for a banking operation.

It should be remembered that Unibank CB OJSC has issued more than 60,000 MasterCard and VISA International cards to date. While being an acquirer with both MasterCard and VISA International, the Bank is also one of the founders of MilliKart. It should be noted that last month Unibank accomplished the certification with VISA International permitting it to issue the VSDC cards of the VISA Infinite and VISA Business types.

Unibank has been in operation since 1992. The bank operates 24 branches, 63 ATMs and 210 POS-terminals across the country.
