Azerbaijan government approves new rules on compulsory insurance for industrial accidents and occupational diseases

Baku. Ali Ahmedov â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers adopted the rules on the categories of compulsory insured persons from the situations of losing of labor ability at the result of industrial accidents and occupational diseases, accounting of annual salaries for the persons having to sign compulsory insurance contract, accounting of average monthly salary for determining the monthly insurance claim on the compulsory insurance, accounting of insurance payment once and for all and accounting of additional insurance payments on the compulsory insurance.

According to APA-Economics, compulsory insured persons from the situations of losing of labor ability at the result of industrial accidents and occupational diseases are divided by the categories of worker, servant, leaders, specialists, technical executor.

According to rule on the accounting of annual salaries for the persons having to sign compulsory insurance contract the annual salary of the person is 12 times more than average monthly salary in his (her) labor contract.

According to rule on the accounting of average monthly salary for determining the monthly insurance claim on the compulsory insurance, the average monthly salary is accounted with the way of the dividing of total sum of paid hire by 12.

The insured persons must be also paid additional insurance payment along to monthly insurance payments.
