Royal Bank sees 56% growth in deposit portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2010, Azerbaijan-based Royal Bank’s assets stood at AZN 149.346 mlb, up 32% compared with a year ago.
Bank says, deposit portfolio rose by 55.8% to AZN 98.348 mln, population’s deposit reached AZN 62.784 mln. Loan portfolio 30.4% increased to AZN 108.385 mln, consumer lending soared 26% to AZN 89.224 mln. Total capital 11.6% decreased to AZN 19.217 mln, authorized capital grew by 3.6% to AZN 20.625 mln.
Staffs rose by 9%$ to 588, average monthly salary 19.4% increased to AZN 602.
Royal Bank has been in operation since 1993. The bank operates 32 branches, 31 ATMs and 111 POS-terminals across the country.
