Istanbul to host 13th Eurasia Economy Summit

Baku – APA_Economics. The 13th Eurasia Economy Summit will be held in İstanbul in May with the participation of a number of politicians, diplomats and businessmen from 40 countries including President Bamir Topi of Albania and President Gjorge Ivanov of Macedonia, Today’s Zaman repored.

The summit will be organized by the Marmara Group Foundation between May 5 and 7.

Marmara Group Foundation President Akkan Süver said at a news conference on Tuesday that the presidents of Albania and Macedonia, the prime minister of Bosnia-Herzegovina as well as a parliament speaker, three deputy prime ministers, 19 ministers and executives from 32 international organizations would be in attendance at this year’s summit.

Süver told reporters that deputy Prime ministers Bülent Arınç and Ali Babacan, State Minister Faruk Çelik and Energy & Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız would also attend the summit.

"The Nabucco Project is one of the topics on top of agenda of this year’s gathering. The summit will bring together energy ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia," he added.
