IMF: Inflation rate to rise 4 per cent in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Under our forecasts, inflation in 2010 will increase a little - to 4%. It is not large change in comparison with an indicator of 2009 and will not become a serious problem, N. Oomes told.

Under prognoses of the State Statistics Committee (SSC) inflation should make 5-7% in 2010 and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) forecasted 6.5% of inflation in Azerbaijan. Following the results of 2009, inflation totaled 1.5% and rose to 1.8% in January.
