AtaLeasing to get 14% rise in leasing portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based leasing company, AtaLeasing, predicts to get a 14% rise in its leasing portfolio to AZN 4 million by this yearend.

Javid Abbasov, deputy chairman of the company, said the leasing portfolio will mainly go to construction and transport sectors.

According to him, the company intends to raise its share capital in 2010.

â€œCurrent affairs and the increase of authorized capital will be discussed at the general meeting of shareholders in a few days,â€ he added.

AtaLeasing, part of AtaHolding, has been in operation since 2004. As at December 1, its authorized capital is AZN 1 million.
