Azerbaijan industrial production index rises in November

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s industrial production index (IPI), a measure of real production output, reached 107% in November, compared to 103.1% in October and 90.5% in September, according to APA-Economics calculations on data released by the State Statistical Committee.

This index accounts for the bulk of the variation in in value terms national output over the duration of business cycle, i.e. industrial output for November (AZN 2 179.6 million) divided by industrial output for October (AZN 2 036.8 million).

The State Statistical Committee said AZN 17 841.3 million worth of industrial output and services were produced during January-November, up 8.2% on the same period last year.
