Ansar Leasing to increase leasing portfolio by yearend

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Ansar Leasing, established by Jeddah-based Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), intends to increase its leasing portfolio by 60% to AZN 800 000 by the end of the year, said the General Manager.

Jeyhun Nagiyev said the company is looking to finance several projects in agriculture and services sector.

â€œOur company has been presented project suggestions worth of AZN 700 million, we are now considering them,â€ he added.

The leasing company, with a paid-up capital of AZN5 million (US$6.2 million), was established to invest in Shariah compliant private business entities in Islamic countries.
