NBC Bank sees 21% rise in deposits

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of December 1, Azerbaijan-based NBC Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 49.132 million, up 18.69% from a year ago.

The bank said loan portfolio rose by 22.74% to AZN 42.030 million, deposit portfolio increased by 21.30% to AZN 28.350 million, total equity capital went up by 18.04% to AZN 18.412 million and authorized capital grew by 14.79% AZN 15.598 million.

As compared to a year ago, revenue rose by 83.57% to AZN 16.827 million and expenditures increased by 97.45% to AZN 15.156 million.

Interest incomes grew by 35.47% to AZN 7.118 million, non-interest incomes more than doubled to AZN 9.709 million while interest expenses increased by 30.31% to AZN 3.219 million and non-interest expenses more than doubled to AZN 11.937 million.

The bankâ€™s profit for January-November jumped by 12.10% year-on-year to AZN 1.671 million.

Established in 1992, Ruzi Bank was renamed as NBCBank in 2002. The bank operates 7 branches, 5 ATMs and 44 POS-terminals.
