Azerbaijan posts 9% year-on-year rise in GDP

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-ECONOMICS. Gross domestic product â€“ the output of goods and services produced by labor and property in Azerbaijan grew by 9% year-on-year during January-November to AZN 29.7 billion.

The State Statistical Committee said GDP per capital increased to AZN 3 360.7 ($4 181) for this period, up 7.6% from a year ago.

GDP came 64.5% (AZN 19.1 billion) from production and 27.9% (AZN 8.3 billion) from services.

The oil sector accounted for 47.8% of value added in GDP, leaving 44.6% to on-oil sector.

Net tax on products and imports accounted for 7.6% of GDP.
