Elchin Habibov: Credit bureau will not be an alternative to Central Bank of Azerbaijanâ€™s central credit register

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. The initiative to set up a credit bureau doesnâ€™t mean creating an alternative to Central Bank of Azerbaijanâ€™s central credit register, said Elchin Habibov, chairman of the register.

"There is nothing paradoxical in the establishment of a credit bureau in parallel with the central credit register. In terms of coverage, the existing credit register includes only private banks. The credit bureau will also cover insurance and leasing companies, mobile operators and others ", he added.
