Bank Respublika gets 22% rise in customer accounts

Baku. Elnur Huseynguliyev-APA-Economics. As of December 1, Azerbaijan-based Bank Respublika posted a 21.8% rise in customer accounts to AZN 165.4 million.

The bank said private deposits grew by 44.6% to AZN 114.8 million and household deposits surged 52.3% to AZN 97.7 million.

The bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 368.9 million, loan portfolio at AZN 226.3 million, total capital at AZN 59.7 million and authorized capital at AZN 30.6 million.

As against a year ago, revenue for January-November reached AZN 51.1 million and expenditures AZN 41.9 million. Profit stood at AZN 9.2 million.

Bank Respublika has been in operation since 1992. DEG Investment Corporation and Sparkassen International Development Trust hold a 25%+1 joint stake.
