MBASK launches online insurance services

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan-based MBASK Insurance Company has launched a new website (ww.mbaskdirect.az) to offer insurance policies over the Internet.

MBASK Direct Online Insurance System allows customers to calculate the value of insurance policy in advance and pay for it without leaving their office or home. Five types of insurance polices are offered.

Payment can be made by credit card (through GoldenPay) on the website or in cash when the policy delivered. This is the first online insurance policy system in Azerbaijan.

Rahman Hajiyev, MBASK Direct project leader, says the company plans to offer a wide range of other retail products online in the future.

Owned by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (30%) and individuals, MBASK has been in operation since 1992.
