Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, the Office of the President of Ukraine announced, APA reports.
According to the statement, Zelenskyy invited the Slovak Prime Minister to visit Ukraine to discuss current issues.
Note that relations between Kyiv and Bratislava remain tense amid disagreements over military assistance to Ukraine and energy cooperation. The issue concerns the suspension of Russian oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline through Ukrainian territory in January 2026. Slovakia and Hungary accuse Kyiv of delaying the resolution of the matter.
