President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky called on Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman to bring the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, Pavel Klimkin, to disciplinary responsibility, APA reports citing the website of the President of Ukraine.
It is noted that such a decision was made due to the fact that "the Foreign Ministry did not inform the head of state about the note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation dated June 25 concerning the release of captured Ukrainian sailors and the note-response from the Ukrainian side."
On June 26, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Ukraine, sent a note indicating the possibilities that Kiev, under Russian law, can use to release sailors.
Later, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin noted that Kiev refuses to consider the proposed conditions for the release of sailors.
