Any “recognition” of Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories as Russian territory will give Moscow nothing. Because no one will recognize these territories, and the most important point is that Ukraine itself will not recognize this, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at a joint press conference with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Kyiv, APA reports, citing RBC-Ukraine.
Zelensky recalled that Russia demands recognition of Donbas as “Russian land,” noting that even if one of the leaders of other countries were to take such a step, it would still give them nothing.
He emphasized that Poland would not do this either.
“On the other hand, Ukraine has its own president who signs documents. Thank God, other leaders do not sign the relevant important documents on behalf of Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
