Baku – APA. The Turkish government has begun the arrests of 2,745 judges and prosecutors who were removed form duty in the wake of a failed military coup on July 15, the Turkish newspaper Sozcu reported.
The number of arrested will reportedly reach to 3,000 that makes one fifth of all judges and prosecutors in Turkey, said the paper.
According to Turkey’s Judges and Prosecutors High Council, there are 10,072 judges and 4,921 prosecutors in the country.
