Baku – APA. A three-day national mourning has been declared in France after the terrorist attack in Nice, the Sputnik International news agency reported July 15.
“French President Francois Hollande decided to declare a period of national mourning for the 16, 17 and 18 of July in commemoration of the victims," Prime Minister Manuel Valls told reporters after a meeting at the Élysée Palace.
"The flags will be flown at half mast on our public buildings today," he added.
Late on Thursday evening, a heavy truck hit a crowd celebrating the Bastille Day in Nice, killing 84 and injuring dozens more.
