Baku-APA. Iran's nuclear negotiator Abbas Araqchi said Friday that it is less likely for a document to be signed in Geneva nuclear talks, but the issuance of a joint statement will be possible, semi-official Mehr news agency reported, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

"Probably, no document will be signed," Araqchi told Mehr, adding that but "a joint statement might be issued."

Iran and the major world powers began crucial talks on the Islamic republic's nuclear issue in Geneva on Thursday.

Western heavyweight foreign ministers, including those of Britain, France, Germany and the United States, will join the nuclear talks on Friday, said the reports.
