"Accusing the gendarmes as coward, the crowd chose mob justice, by wrecking the gendarmes 'houses and forcing the suspect to identify his complicit,'" he said, declining to be identified.
Confessing to having taken away an eight-year-old child, the suspect denounced two French citizens as behind the crime, the source said.
During the scuffle between the gendarmes and local people, a man, 20, was shot dead and at least 10 of local people were injured by gunshot fired by gendarmes.
"Local people rushed also to the residence of the two Frenchmen and discovered in their freezer frozen children's organs, including genitals and tongues cut off," he added.
After inquiring the Frenchmen who confessed to having committed organ trafficking, the crowed lynched and burn them alive at the beach of Madirokely in Nosy-Be Island, the eyewitness said.
Many French people and other foreigners walking in Nosy-Be were not touched by the crowd, who only targeted the two organ traffickers, according to the source.
The French Consulate in Nosy-Be Island has advised its citizens to leave this small island after the case of lynching.
