As of April 2017, there are 5,163,927 registered voters in Azerbaijan, up over 36,000 voters compared to the same period of last year, the chairman of the country’s Central Election Commission (CEC), Mazahir Panahov, announced Friday.
The process of compiling voter lists is going on and it should be completed by late May, said Panahov addressing a CEC meeting.
“The informal process of clarifying voter lists should be completed within 10 days. So far, we had no problem regarding the number of voters”, he said.
