United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will implement "Economic Security Program" in Georgia, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.
Peter Wiebler, the Mission Director of the USAID/Georgia stated that the Program aims to increase the incomes of the population and create new jobs by attracting investments to various sectors in Georgia.
The new project will be implemented with the participation of strategic partners, the private sector, the government and civil society.
It was noted that the program will allocate grants for investment in certain areas and create new jobs, while targeted partnerships programs will be used to attract the private sector.
