President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy and Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi had a telephone conversation, Volodymyr Zelenskiy wrote on his Twitter, APA reports.
"On the Chornobyl tragedy's anniversary, I had a phone call with Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi. I stressed that only the return of Ukraine full control over Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plants (NPP) will protect the world from a new disaster. Thanked for the IAEA's special program on medical support of Ukrainian nuclear workers," he wrote.
