Marianna Budanova, the wife of Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of Ukraine's Defence Intelligence (DIU), has been poisoned with heavy metals, sources in the security services told Ukrainska Pravda, APA reports
Ukrainska Pravda's sources said Budanova was “most likely poisoned through her food.” After she complained of feeling unwell, they added, “they did some tests, which revealed that she had been poisoned,” they said.
The sources also said that “poisoning was confirmed in several employees as well.”
Ukrainian law enforcement agencies have not commented on the incident.
