Ukraine to receive $38 billion in defense aid in 2026 from Ramstein partners

Following the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format, an allocation of $38 billion for Ukraine’s support in 2026 has been agreed, the defense minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced this on his Facebook page, APA reports.

$38 billion in support for Ukraine for drones, air defense, and Patriot missiles – the results of one of the most successful Ramsteins," Mykhailo Fedorov stated.

According to the defense chief, at the conclusion of the meeting, partners confirmed one of the largest budgets for Ukraine support – $38 billion for 2026. Under this amount, more than $6 billion is allocated for specific aid packages: over $2.5 billion for Ukrainian drones, over $500 million for PURL, $2 billion for air defense, as well as funds for artillery ammunition, training, naval capabilities and other areas.

By the President’s instruction, they reached agreements with several European partners on the prompt delivery of Patriot missiles from their stocks. The minister expressed thanks for the partners’ initiative.

We will finalize the quantity after final approval by the leaders of the respective partner countries. We hope for the fastest possible delivery timelines," said Mykhailo Fedorov.

Following the meeting, participants announced an ambitious package of commitments for 2026, including financial support and specific defense projects.
