Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, the estimated combat losses of Russia have reached 20,800 personnel, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a post on Facebook, APA reports citing Ukrinform.
The total estimated losses of the Russian force, from February 24 to April 19, also include tanks – 802, armored combat vehicles – 2,063, artillery systems - 386, MLRS - 132, air defense means - 67, aircraft - 169, helicopters - 150, vehicles – 1,495, ships/boats - 8, fuel tanks – 76, UAVs of the operational and tactical level – 158, special equipment – 27, and mobile SRBM systems – 4.
Data on losses are being clarified as the calculation is complicated by the high intensity of hostilities.
