"We have made intensive diplomatic efforts to end the conflict between our two neighbors," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, APA's Turkish correspondent reports.

He noted that concrete steps had been taken at the Istanbul meeting: "As a country trusted by both sides, we continue our efforts. Both sides are in favor of advancing the talks in Istanbul. I have regular telephone conversations with Mr. Zelensky and Putin. I wish the two leaders to meet, especially in Turkey. As these conflicts continue, not only losses but also economic costs will increase. "A ceasefire between our two neighbors and then a lasting peace will be one of the best things that can be done for humanity."
