Foreign Ministry of Turkey has made a statement regarding a decision about Turkey- US union at House of Representatives of the USA, APA’s Turkey bureau reports.
It is mentioned in the statement that this decision is contrary to friendship and union relationship between Turkey and the US.
“Differences in the opinion between friendly and allied countries don’t have to lead to disrespect of the internal laws of these countries. We see the solution to the situation in the dialogues and discussions. Instead of this sanction threats, prolonging the period with pretexts, and make decisions that can harm mutual trust cannot be taken,” the statement reads.
Note that the anxiety has expressed towards the relations between the US and Turkey in the decision taken at US House of Representatives on June 10. Turkish foreign policy and the court system have been criticized in the decision.
