A spokesperson for UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has commented on a statement released today by Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, APA reports, citing Sky News.
Starmer’s spokesperson said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is attempting to distract from his country’s crimes by spreading false information that the UK intends to provide nuclear weapons to Ukraine.
“Putin is clearly lying,” the UK government official stressed.
Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service claimed earlier today that the United Kingdom and France are secretly preparing to supply nuclear weapons to Ukraine.
