Olaf Scholz yesterday urged everyone who can send tanks to Ukraine to "really do so now", APA reports citing Telegraph.
The German leader’s calls come as Berlin grows angry with Ukraine’s allies who have pledged to also send the heavy vehicles but have yet to do so.
"Those who can send such battle tanks should really do so now," Mr Scholz told the Munich Security Conference, adding he would be "intensively campaigning" for allies to move on the issue.
Mr Scholz had for months been under pressure from allies to approve the delivery of German-made Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
