Russia is advancing at the speed of a snail in Ukraine, said NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at the Munich Security Conference, APA reports.
"They want us to perceive the Russians as a mighty bear. But in Ukraine they are almost advancing at the speed of a snail. Let us not forget this. Let us not fall into the trap of Russian propaganda," Rutte emphasized.
The NATO Secretary General once again recalled Russia's serious losses on the front. According to him, in December last year, Russia lost 35 thousand soldiers, and in January - 30 thousand.
