Russian army has seized the Kherson City Council, said City Council, APA reports citing Ukrainian Media.
Kherson Mayor Igor Kolykhaev said on his Facebook that on Monday night, "armed men entered the building of the Kherson City Council, took the keys and replaced our guards with their own."
The Kherson City Council will be closed from tomorrow.
“At 4.30 pm, the Russian military entered the building and told all the workers to leave. The Ukrainian flag was removed from the building. No explanations were given to the people. Mayor Igor Kolykhayev left the building last,” said a city council official.
