The President of Georgia is acting completely uncontrollably, the Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili said in response to Salome Zurabishvili's demand yesterday for the authorities to set a date for new parliamentary elections within a week, APA reports citing Pravda Georgia.
"Her request cannot have any legitimacy. There are no grounds for new elections, although we know that Salome Zurabishvili is not interested in any legal or constitutional grounds. When it comes to her actions against Georgia's interests, she doesn't need a Constitution, a law, or any rules at all," Botchorishvili said.
Note that Salome Zurabishvili said at a protest on Rustaveli Avenue yesterday that she was ready to meet with Bidzina Ivanishvili to determine the date for new elections.
