The Ministry of Defense of Moldova stated that the Moldovan army does not intend to intervene in the political crisis that has swept the country, APA reports citing Tellerreport.
This is stated on the office page on Facebook.
"The national army of Moldova will continue to work as usual, will not intervene in the crisis and stay away from political games," the report says.
The Defense Ministry noted that until there is a certain clarity in the political situation in the country, the National Army will obey only the constitutional order.
Earlier, the speaker of the Moldovan parliament, Zinaida Greceanii, announced her intention to appeal to the ECHR after the decision of the country's Constitutional Court to dissolve the republic’s legislative body.
