The EU Council will finally approve the legislative package ensuring the provision of a 90-billion-euro loan to Ukraine on February 24, said European Pravda, citing a high-ranking EU diplomat, APA reports.
“We expect the adoption of this legislative package at the EU Council meeting on general affairs on February 24,” the diplomat noted.
He also added that only a majority vote of EU member states is required for the decision to be adopted.
“Ukraine will receive these funds starting from the second quarter of this year,” he added.
