"Despite Russia's large-scale aggression, Ukraine will remain committed to productive and decisive leadership during its 2023 GUAM presidency," said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba at the online meeting of the GUAM MFA Council, APA reports.
He expressed gratitude for this year's chairmanship of Moldova and added that Ukraine is determined to provide decisive and productive leadership to GUAM next year.
Dmitri Kuleba mentioned 5 priorities of Ukraine during the presidency at the organization.
According to the minister, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of GUAM member states; creation of new economic opportunities and development of trade between European and Asian markets; achieving full functioning of the free trade zone; mutual activity with the European Commission regarding the GUAM Transport Corridor; simplification of customs procedures and application of a comprehensive approach to documents for transportation within the GUAM Transport Corridor include among them.
