If the United States wants peace, it must put pressure on Russia, Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, said in an interview with Bloomberg TV, APA reports.
Kallas stated that the US strategy of exerting pressure on Ukraine had been unsuccessful in advancing peace talks, and therefore, President Donald Trump should instead put pressure on Russia.
“Their (U.S.) approach was to put pressure on Ukraine. Over the course of a year, this yielded no results, so perhaps we should shift our focus to the other side,” Kallas added.
