As we reported, French President Emmanuel Macron made a telephone call to President Ilham Aliyev today, APA reports.
The French President shared a post in Azerbaijani on his X account.
In his post, he thanked Azerbaijan for the assistance our country provided to facilitate the evacuation of French citizens.
"As part of my consultations with regional leaders, I spoke with President Ilham Aliyev and expressed our support and solidarity with him following the Iranian strikes on his country. I took this opportunity to reiterate our support for the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and our desire to continue our bilateral dialogue with Baku on a more solid basis," Macron added.
