Eight Azerbaijani citizens have been deported from Georgia in Jan-June of this year, APA’s local bureau reports citing Georgian MIA.
Totally 41 foreign citizens have been deported from Georgia in the reporting period. Alongside Azerbaijan, citizens of Iran (6), Egypt (5), Turkey (4), Angola (2), India (2), Iraq (2), Nigeria (2), Canada (1), Kenya (1), Uzbekistan (1), Ukraine (1), Bangladesh (1), Congo (1), Morocco (1), Nepal (1), Pakistan (1) and Haiti (1) are in the list.
It was stated that majority of deported foreigners are men aged 26-40.
Note that 77 foreigners were deported from Georgia in 2018.
