"First of all, everyone should think of a ceasefire, and peace regarding the Ukraine issue should be a ceasefire and peace," said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, APA reports.
He noted that everyone should be responsible in this matter.
"Everyone must take constructive steps. I do not mean that we should turn a blind eye to Russia's mistakes, we must stop the war. A ceasefire must be ensured. And further steps should be taken after that including the restoration of trust and the normalization of relations. Every war can bring peace. But Ukraine and innocent people pay a heavy price for it.'
Cavusoglu also said that they have been in contact with Russia and Ukraine since last night, especially with the special envoys who met in Belarus. We are learning on which issues the sides reach an agreement. It seems that a different situation arises a day later in the issues they agreed on.
