The British government has exempted the Druzhba oil pipeline from sanctions, it was announced in a general authorization issued by the UK Office of Financial Sanctions Enforcement (OFSI), APA reports.
As noted in the document, the exemption from sanctions is valid until October 14, 2027.
The pipeline was placed under restrictions due to a new package of anti-Russian sanctions announced on February 24. Transneft, the company that operates the Russian section of the pipeline, was included in the sanctions.
