Shooting on the Moldova-Ukraine border, a frontier heavily wounded

Baku. Ziya Agazade â€“ APA. On 21 January, as a result of shooting on the Moldova-Ukraine border between Timakov and Semenovka villages one frontier was heavily wounded, APA reports quoting Ukraine State Border Service as saying.

According to the information of the Ukraine state border service, the shooting began after the frontiers tailed after a group of contrabandists, presumably Moldavian citizens who fired at the serviceman from the hunting rifles. The shootings left one frontier heavily wounded and he was taken to the Kodimskoi hospital in time. His condition said to be critical.

The contrabandist slipped away after the shootings broke.

Note that, on December of last year, Ukraine and Moldova has agreed on drawing out demarcation of the central part of the borders between the two countries.
