Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with a delegation led by Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmuş, who is visiting the country, APA reports, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.
During the meeting, Baku’s hosting of the 20th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was assessed as an important event.
The satisfaction was expressed with the successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, based on brotherhood, alliance, and mutual trust, across all areas.
It was emphasized that interparliamentary cooperation is an important component of bilateral relations, and the significance of close contacts and mutual visits between the legislative bodies of the two countries was noted.
The parties expressed confidence that the Azerbaijan-Türkiye strategic partnership would continue to be enriched with new content and discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
