EU and Eastern Partnership countries planning to approve working program 2010

Brussels. Alexander Kin – APA. European Union (EU) and Eastern Partnership (EP) countries are planning to approve working program for 2010 at the meeting of the EU and EP foreign ministers in Brussels on Tuesday, European Commission officials told APA correspondent. EU will begin associative agreement talks with the five Eastern Partnership countries next year. The negotiations are going on with Ukraine now. “The Eastern Partnership got started successfully as a result of joint commitments and efforts by the partner countries. We have done very important work toward the strengthening and deepening of bilateral and multilateral relations in a short period”, said EU Commissioner for External Relations, European Neighborhood Policy and Trade Affairs Benita Ferrero-Waldner. EU will begin to carry out institutional building program in the Eastern Partnership countries early 2010. It will send its experts to all member countries to learn the needs of every country.
